It means VKA covers the cost of the technician’s time for service and repairs during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm). If a part needs to be replaced, that part is billed separately. If you want parts covered too, Complete Coverage is the better fit.
Complete Coverage includes hardware that was originally installed as part of your VKA security system. Standard security devices, panels, and intrusion device batteries are covered. Door locks, automation devices, and third-party equipment are generally not included unless specifically stated in your plan agreement — just ask us and we’ll tell you exactly what applies to your setup.
Yes — Essential Coverage is available on approved system takeovers, meaning VKA can take over the service of an existing system and add a maintenance plan to it. We’ll evaluate your system first to make sure we can support it properly. Give us a call and we’ll let you know if your system qualifies.
Both plans cover service during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm). For after-hours service needs, standard rates apply. For emergencies, VKA’s 24/7 emergency line is always available at 904-824-5003 — we’re never unreachable when it matters.
Complete Coverage is priced at $20/month for systems with up to 20 devices, and $25/month for systems with more than 20 devices. If you’re not sure how many devices your system has, we can count them during a system inspection — no guesswork required.
No. VKA doesn’t believe in locking customers into contracts. Our maintenance plans are month-to-month — you stay because the service is worth it, not because you’re obligated to.
Both plans include remote diagnostics and troubleshooting, which means our technicians can often assess and resolve issues without requiring a service visit. When we can fix something remotely, we will — saving you time and keeping your system running without unnecessary disruption.
